I remember watching the drawing from the tv room of my fraternity house. I had No. 168 while a sophomore at UNC.
I left college and was drafted well past my cut-off date. Being strongly against the war I hired a lawyer and sued the selective service system in the test case for the east coast. Eventurally I lost the case but at least it kept me out of Nam.
Looking back, it was a positive experience but I didn’t think so at the time. I sure took a pay cut when I eventually went in the service.
